Cat Poem

Sometimes I wish I were a cat

A black fluffy feline snug by the fire

My heart would race for food and games

My ears would perk at the sound of my name

Sometimes I wish I were a cat

Daily licking of paws and rubbing of cheeks

I would sleep all day and stretch at rising

My worries would melt with strokes on a warm lap
